Wholesale of fruit and vegetables
The company is primarily engaged in the wholesale trade of oranges and clementines. It has been selling citrus fruits since 1994, however it has been in the fruit industry for more than 30 years through its founding partners. Traditionally, the most important aim for the company is the domestic trade development although its main customers are the large supermarkets chains in Europe. The company has a registered office located in Estubeny in Valencia, Spain. The company has its own production of nine million kilos of citrus fruit (oranges and clementines) shared out in about 108 hectareas cultivated, comprised of its own SAT (an agricultural transform society) marketed from its installations in Valencia. It also manipulates 10 additional million kilos which are bought directly from the regions farmers. The company usually receives a volume of production of 12 months for the oranges and nine months for the clementines. It has installations with the capacity of 14,000 square meters to produce the product, and it has been computerized for two years which gives it the lastest innovations to manipulate citrus fruit. The company has a wide distribution web which allows the products to arrive to many countries with the best quality and preservation conditions. It has a persevering comunication with its collaborators in order to watch the chain of refrigeration, loading and unloading of the final product. The company has three stands in the provision market of Madrid (Mercamadrid). From here, it supplies its products to the capital city as to the surrounding areas (Avila, Salamanca, Toledo). The company also sends its products to La Coruña, Vizcaya, Sevilla and Barcelona.
